It's been 11 years since our Eider Chase winner Comply Or Die went on to victory in the Grand National, and although this year's Eider winner doesn't line up in this year's National renewal, amongst the 69 entries is our Rehearsal Chase winner Lake View Lad.
10 horses with Newcastle form remain in the entries list for the 2019 Grand National. Three make it into the top 40 in the weights and so are guaranteed a run, should they wish to take up their engagement.

- 44. THE YOUNG MASTER (33/1) - pulled up in February 2018
- 52. OUT SAM (40/1) - pulled up in the 2017 Eider Chase
- 55. KINGSWELL THEATRE (100/1) - winner over hurdles in December 2014
- 57. MILANSBAR (66/1) - 5th in the 2018 Eider Chase
- 65. LOOKING WELL (100/1) - winner over hurdles March 2015
- 66. POTTERS CORNER (50/1) - faller in this season's Eider Chase
- 67. MORNEY WING (150/1) - 3rd in this season's Eider Chase
