Lindsey Bamborough was picked as the winner of the Gainford Group Ladies Day 2022 Style Award competition. Lindsey impressed judges wearing an outstanding white and black polka dot outfit. She revealed she was already enjoying a special day as she and husband Chris were celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary and this was the cherry on top of an amazing day out.
"My heart is going, my tummy is flipping!" she admitted after being handed a gift bag of amazing prizes. Her dress was purchased from Boohoo and her hat was a surprise gift from her husband, he got the hat custom made from a fashion designer from Etsy. Her Black heels complemented the outfit perfectly that she picked up from a local charity shop in Woolsington where she lives.
Once the Style Awards winner was announced, Lindsey did not initially realise she had won, thinking she'd made second place. Her reaction was priceless as she couldn't quite believe the result.
The delighted couple then were deciding how to celebrate - they might go on to Jesmond said 42-year-old Lindsey, adding they had free time - until 9pm - before their return home. "I wish I was like Cinderella!"
Lindsey said: "I'll have a stiff drink to calm down!" and joked of her win: "Obviously I'll have to sign some autographs!"
