Set in the 812-acre estate of High Gosforth Park, Newcastle Racecourse is one of the busiest racecourses in the UK, hosting more than 80 all-weather and jump fixtures each year. The estate is also home to High Gosforth Golf Club and clubhouse, conference and venue hire facilities and its very own pub, the Border Minstrel.

Newcastle Racecourse is a Grade 1 National Hunt track and we also boast an all-weather Tapeta flat track on the outside of the jumps track - currently the only floodlit all-weather straight mile in Europe. Notable fixtures in our racing calendar include the Eider Chase, the All Weather Championship Finals on Good Friday, the historic Northumberland Plate Festival, and the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth Hurdle.
